Role responsibilities
Material transportation driver and CRV center support
This role keeps material moving safely between Guido's Recycling centers and authorized destinations. It combines loading, secure transportation, unloading, documentation, and center support; it is not a driving-only job.
What the role involves
- Inspect the assigned vehicle before travel.
- Load bags by dragging, sliding, tilting, bracing, using available equipment, or asking for help.
- Distribute and secure the load before leaving.
- Drive only authorized routes and stop at authorized destinations.
- Unload material at the destination.
- Keep tickets, receipts, and required records accurate and organized.
- Record all time worked.
- Communicate traffic, lines, equipment problems, and delays honestly.
- Stop and ask for instructions when the vehicle, load, route, or destination is not safe.
- In a relief assignment, learn customer and CRV center work through paid training before covering a center.
How to succeed

- • Verify before deciding and work safely.
- • Maintain honest records and treat customers and coworkers with respect.
- • Practice actively during paid training.
During paid training, moments without customers are used for assigned practice, guided review, or asking for the next task.
Experience and working conditions
- • Prior CRV, computer, or powered-industrial-truck experience is not required.
- • Comparable driving, loading, or service experience is preferred, not universally required.
- • The work is primarily outdoors, under shade, at ambient temperature.
- • Some bags exceed 60 pounds and some exceed 100 pounds. Workers are not expected to shoulder-lift a full bag; the actual handling methods above and help when needed are used.
- • A strong loading-and-driving candidate can still be considered without wanting or already knowing customer and CRV center work.
